I would like to take a moment to brief you on how to get the most from these charts which we purchased on behalf of our clients. The links above the page give you the general group of contracts.
- For example, if you wish to look for November Heating Oil, you simply click on the Energies link.
- Next find the Heating Oil and click on the name. This will expand and list all of the Heating Oil contracts currently trading.
- To view a chart, simply click the chart logo in front of the month you wish to view. Once the chart is displayed, you can look at different studies by selecting the one you want in the studies box.. *Tip.. To view a weekly chart do not click the weekly button as this will only give the the weekly data from HOX02 that particular life of contract. Rather, remove the X02 which is the month and year and leave only the HO or root symbol. Then move across the screen and select weekly in the "Period" box under the "Chart Display". Once you have done this, click the "Get Chart" button at the bottom and you have a continuous weekly chart. You may also include studies with this long term chart.
- To view the "Options Pricing", find the month you require and click on the red horshoe. This will give you a wealth of information including the last column "DTE" or number of days until expiry of the option.
